Right after Turkish Delight Festival here in Istanbul there is also The Roman Festival on the eve of 5th of May. You only pay a minimum fee at the entrance to purchase the wonderful mezze they will offer at various stands, there will be endless dancing and music by the Romany people. You can join both events (Turkish Delight Festival) and complete it with an Istanbul site seeing and include The Gypsy Festival….as your choice.

Also, I would like to inform you about some additions we have included in the 2nd Turkish Delight Festival in Istanbul. We have added a “Championship Awards” and have decided to Judge on, TOTAL PERFORMANCE ON THE DANCERS OWN MOTIVATION AND PERSONAL EXPRESIONS AND ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE TO THE AUDIENCE, giving participants equal opportunity to win. This means judging the dancer as a whole on their performances rather on sections particularly the issue of costume, taking into consideration that not all of us can afford an expensive costume. The Whirling Dervishes will also appear on our Competition Night.
